Jaimy Inc. (“Jaimy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use Jaimy’s services or mobile/desktop applications (collectively, the “Service”). Jaimy Inc. is a Delaware C Corporation located at 580 California St, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, and our Service is intended for users in the United States and Canada. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. We do not access any of your external accounts or personal data unless you explicitly consent and connect those accounts to Jaimy.

Information We Collect and Access

We only collect or access personal data from your accounts after you grant explicit permission by linking or integrating your external services with Jaimy. When you connect a third-party account to our Service, you are authorizing us to retrieve and use certain information from that account in order to provide our features. This Policy covers data from currently supported integrations and any future data sources that you authorize. The types of data we collect include, but are not limited to:

• Email and Messaging Data: If you connect your email (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) or messaging apps (SMS, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, etc.), we may access the content of your messages and emails, email headers and metadata (such as sender, recipient, date, and subject lines), attachments, and any other information those platforms expose to us via their APIs.
• Calendar Data: If you integrate a calendar (e.g. Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar), we may read your calendar events (titles, descriptions, locations, attendees) and associated metadata, and we may create or edit events on your calendar with your permission. By linking your calendar, you grant our app the ability to view and manage events on your behalf.
• Contacts and Other Integrated Data: In the course of providing our service (for example, when scheduling meetings or sending communications), we might access your contacts or participant information from emails or calendar events so that we can automate tasks (like inviting attendees to a meeting or sending a message). We will only access such data if it is part of the authorized integration and needed for the Service's functionality.
• Account Credentials (OAuth Tokens): We do not collect your passwords for email, messaging, or calendar accounts. Instead, we use OAuth 2.0 and other token-based authentication methods to securely gain access. When you connect an integration, you authenticate directly with the third-party provider, and that service issues us a temporary access token that grants our app limited access (as per the scope you approved). This means we never see or store your login credentials; we only store the OAuth token and related IDs needed to access the integration.
• Usage Data: We may collect certain technical information when you use our Service, such as log data, device information, and usage statistics. This may include IP addresses, device type, operating system, timestamps of actions, and error logs. We use this information to monitor performance, improve reliability, and enhance the user experience. This data is generally collected in aggregate form and does not directly identify individual users.

How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely to provide and improve the Service and perform the tasks you expect from Jaimy. This includes using your information to:

• Automate Tasks: Jaimy acts on your behalf in connected accounts, such as scanning emails for actionable items, scheduling meetings, sending communications, or generating automated responses (if enabled).
• Provide Core Functionality: Your data enables features like cross-platform notifications, unified search, meeting scheduling, and reminders. We only use data for authorized purposes.
• Improve and Develop: We analyze usage trends and interactions to enhance Jaimy's performance and capabilities, always in aggregated or anonymized form.
• Customer Support: We use your information to assist with support inquiries and send administrative or informational messages. You can opt-out of non-essential communications.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. Data from integrations is used strictly for Service functionality and improvement.

Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data very seriously and implement industry-standard security measures to protect it. All user data that Jaimy collects or processes is securely stored in the cloud using Microsoft Azure data centers. Azure is a trusted cloud platform with robust security practices; data stored with Azure is protected with state-of-the-art encryption both at rest and in transit.

• Encryption in Transit: All network communication between our application, your devices, and third-party services is encrypted using strong protocols such as HTTPS/TLS. This ensures that any data is encrypted while traveling over the internet so that it cannot be intercepted or read by unauthorized parties.
• Encryption at Rest: Data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest on the Azure cloud servers. Azure uses 256-bit AES encryption for storage, which is FIPS 140-2 compliant and considered highly secure.
• Authentication and Access Control: We use OAuth 2.0 for connecting to your external accounts, which avoids us handling your passwords and ensures that you can revoke access at any time. Access tokens and sensitive credentials are stored securely. Our internal access to these tokens and to your data is strictly limited to what is necessary to operate and support the Service.
• Infrastructure Security: We utilize Azure's built-in security features like network firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and continuous monitoring for vulnerabilities. Regular security audits and penetration testing are conducted to ensure our defenses remain strong.
• Storage Duration: We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law. If you delete your Jaimy account or revoke an integration, we will delete or anonymize the associated personal data (unless retention is legally required or for legitimate business purposes).

Third-Party Service Providers and Integrations

Jaimy integrates with several third-party services and relies on certain third-party providers to operate our infrastructure. We are transparent about how we share data with these third parties, sharing only what is necessary and never selling your data.

Integrated Services (User-Authorized)

These are services you choose to connect to Jaimy, such as email, messaging apps, and calendars. We use official APIs and OAuth for access, with your consent and under the permissions you grant.

• Cloud Hosting and Storage: Microsoft Azure, potentially Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Communication APIs: Google APIs, Microsoft Graph API, Twilio, etc.
• Artificial Intelligence and Processing: OpenAI or similar AI service providers

All third-party providers adhere to strict privacy and security standards. We do not allow them to use your personal information for their own marketing or unrelated purposes.

As our Service evolves, we may update our list of third-party providers. Any new integrations will require your permission, and we will notify you of significant changes.

Your Rights and Choices

We believe it's important that you have control over your personal data. You are in charge of which accounts you connect to Jaimy and what data we can access, and you have the right to modify or revoke that access at any time. Below is a summary of your rights and how to exercise them:

Your consent is the basis for data collection. You can choose which integrations to enable and disconnect any integration at any time through the Jaimy app settings or the third-party service's security settings.

Data Deletion and Account Deletion

You can request deletion of specific data or your entire account by contacting our support email or through in-app functionality.

Access and Correction

You have the right to access and correct your information. Contact us to request correction of inaccurate data.

Opt-Out of Communications

You can opt out of non-essential emails or messages. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these privacy rights.

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 13 has an account with Jaimy or is using our Service, please contact us and we will take appropriate action to deactivate the account and delete the personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. If we make material changes, we will notify you by (for example) sending an email to the address associated with your account or by displaying a prominent notice within the app. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will indicate when the latest changes were made. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to the Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
